今日、ICPの最終回を迎えました。講師は現地でお世話になったDesign Tech High Schoolの先生が務めてくださいました。授業ではこれまでの学びを振り返る確認テストが実施され、教室全体に集中が行き渡っていました。取り組む姿からは、われわれの個々で物事を深める能力の確かな成長を感じました。
僕自身も、デザインシンキングに関する設問に落ち着いて答えることができ、半年以上の積み重ねが理解として定着していると実感しました。与えられたシチュエーションから課題を見つける演習でも、状況をじっくり観察し、ユーザーが何を求めているのかを捉える手応えがありました。ICPで学んだ視点が、考え方や行動に自然と働き始めています。
今日でICPは区切りを迎えましたが、私たちのシリコンバレー研修はまだ続きます。今回の研修を通して、各自が「成長した実感」や「こうなりたいという理想」を見つけることができだと思います。進む方向はそれぞれ異なりますが、目の前の物事に全力で向き合い、その経験を自分の力へと変えていく姿勢は共通しています。
これからは、研修で得た考え方や知識、そして出会った多くの人々とのつながりを存分に生かし、各自が選んだ道を歩み続けます。学びを実践につなげ、行動によって次の学びを得る——その循環をさらに強めていきます。
最後に、今回の研修に関わってくださった皆さまに心より感謝申し上げます。講演者の方々、運営の皆さま、同行してくださった先生方、そして参加を後押ししてくれた家族。多くの支えがあったからこそ、私たちはここまで来ることができました。そしていつか、この研修に携わっていただいた方々に「恩送り」ができるよう、参加させて良かったと思っていただけるよう、今後も努力を重ねていきます。私たちの進化は、ここで終わりではありません。ぜひこれからもご期待とご声援のほど、どうぞよろしくお願いします！！
Today we had the final session of the ICP program. The teacher who we met during the visit at Design Tech High School, gave us the lecture. We took a review test about what we have learned so far. The whole class was very focused, and from the way everyone worked, I felt our clear growth.
As for me, I could answer the questions about design thinking calmly. I felt that more than six months of learning has become real understanding. In the task to find problems from a given situation, I observed carefully and could find what the users wanted. The way of thinking I learned in ICP is now working naturally in my ideas and actions.
ICP reached a stopping point today, but our Silicon Valley program still continues. Through this program, each of us could find a “feeling of growth” and “an ideal of how we want to be.” Our directions are different, but we all face the things in front of us with full effort and try to change each experience into our own strength.
From now on, we will make full use of the ideas and knowledge we gained, and the connections with many people we met. We will keep walking on the paths we choose. We will connect learning to action, and through action we will get new learning. We will make this cycle even stronger.
Lastly, we would like to thank everyone who joined and supported this program: the speakers, the staff, the teachers who came with us, and our families who encouraged our participation. Thanks to your support, we came this far. Someday, we want to give back to the people who helped with this program, and we want them to feel it was good to let us join. We will keep working hard. Our growth does not end here. We would be grateful for your continued support and encouragement.
