今日のＥＳＬの授業では、ホストファミリーへのお礼状を書きました。このカードは、ホストファミリーとお別れするときに渡すものです。どの生徒も日本らしさを感じさせる工夫を取り入れ、心を込めて作っていました。
また、今日最後の授業では、バディとともにスポーツを楽しみました。
２名の生徒が書いた英文の日記を紹介します。

It was sunny and a little hot. I got up at 7 o’clock. I had breakfast
and left home at 7:50. I arrived at school at 7:58. I had an ESL class first. It was fun. Then I had a break for morning tea. I ate biscuits,
sweets, sandwiches, fruits and a meat pie. The meat pie was very
good. Then, I had a free time. I used a computer. I tried a puzzle
and some other things there. Then, I had lunch. It was a lot of fun
because I talked a lot with my friends during the lunch time.
After that, we played soccer and kickball. It was a lot of fun.


We had lunch time. Then we ran on the school ground. It was a lot
of fun. After that, we played soccer with our buddies. Our team had a good soccer player, but we didn’t win. I was so sad. We played
another game. It was so fun. This time our team won. I was so glad. I went to the house of the host family of one of my Japanese friends. I met Eliot and Abi (my friend’s host brother and sister). They are
my good friends, too. We went to the park. I did not play any sports, but Eliot played soccer. I went to a shopping center with my
Japanese friend and Abi. We bought some ‘Thank You Cards’, and I
bought a birthday card. Today is my host sister’s birthday. We had a
birthday party. I gave the present to my host sister. She was so
happy. I was happy, too.
