今日は最後の登校日でした。朝、ホストマザーに学校まで車で送ってもらっているとき、まるで今までずっと毎日ホストファミリーとオーストラリアで過ごしてきた日常のように感じました。ホストファミリーとバディーとお別れをすることがとても辛かったです。今日は英語の授業で習った “Let’s
keep in touch!” を何度も先生方とオーストラリアの生徒のみなさんに言いました。このオーストラリアでの貴重な出会いをずっと大事にしたいと思います。
Today was the final day of staying with my host family.
In the morning, I gave “Thank You Card” to my host father and host brother. I was really sad when I left home and said good-bye to
them. At school, we had a farewell party. We sang
“Top of the World” and danced PPAP.
I had a great time with them. I’ll never forget them.

今日はホストファミリー、バディーとのお別れでした。短い間でしたが、たくさんの楽しいときを共に過ごしてきたので、お別れがとても辛かったです。しかし、フェアウェルパーティーでは、一緒にダンスをしたりご飯を食べたりと、最後の素晴らしい思い出をつくることができました。バディーやホストファミリーと連絡先を交換することができたので、日本に帰ってからも交流を続けられたらいいなと思います。
We enjoyed talking and eating at the farewell party with our buddies today. Today was the last day, so both Japanese and Australian
students cried. That means we became good friends. At the party,
we sang “Furusato” and danced “Live While We’re Young.” We had a valuable experience here in Australia. We’ll never forget this trip.
