登校日３日目を迎えました。全員元気に登校しています。
ホームステイ先の兄弟と一緒に登校する生徒や、バスを乗り継いで登校している生徒もいます。
朝からバディと笑顔で簡単なあいさつや会話を楽しむ様子が見られました。
本日の授業はバディの授業２コマとESLです。ESLでは昨日の続きである動物の紹介を行う予定です。
本日で研修も残り半分となりました。時間が経つのがはやく感じられると話す生徒もいます。
日本の家族を恋しく思うと同時に、ホストファミリーやバディとの時間を大切に思う言葉もたくさん聞こえてきます。文化の違いはありますが、多くの生徒が初めてのホームステイを満喫しているようです。
昨日生徒が書いた英文の作文の一部を紹介します。
Today, we enjoyed rock climbing. We went to the gym by bus. There were many rocks. And we climbed with buddies.
After morning tea, we had ESL. We made a group of two, and introduced about Australian animals. We introduced Tasmanian devils.
After the second break, we had sport class with buddies. First, we played soccer with a big ball. I was in the Blue team. We won. Second, we played soccer with a soccer ball. We won, too. Third, we played soccer game, like baseball game. We lost....
Rock climbing was difficult for me. I was afraid of climbing. In ESL, to ask about Australian animals was interesting. In sport class, I was excited at the games. I want to play it again!!
